This Friday we will have all First Friday and Lenten Friday's Scheduled events. Adoration and Reconciliation at 10:30 AM, Mass at 11:30 AM, Stations of the Cross and Reconciliation at 4:00 PM, Mass at 5:00 PM and the K of C Fish Fry at 5:30 PM
6 PM Daily Masses for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday will now be Communion Services with Deacon Steve. Father Larry is with his family after the loss of his brother's wife last week. She passed peacefully at home after a long battle with M.S. Friday's 5:00 PM service will be a Mass.
Latest Update from Father Larry, "All weekend Masses are a go. The church has power and water. We must warn you there are still slick areas and falling ice is still possible. Please walk on the campus grounds with care if you plan to attend Mass this weekend."
Ash Wednesday, All Masses and Events scheduled for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (February 17-19) have been cancelled. The Knights of Columbus Drive-Thru Fish Fry will resume Friday, February 26. (Update at 10:35 AM, Feb. 17)
Our Lenten journey begins this Wednesday, February 17. Due to the current weather situation we were unable to print the calendar for this weekend but feel free to download and print it yourselves.
For the safety of our staff they will be working from their homes. Voicemail and emails will be checked often. As always, due to Covid 19 and poor weather conditions, we recommend calling ahead before coming out to the office. Information about church services and other events will be updated daily on our website calendar. Please check for cancellations before coming out to the church campus.
Bishop Vasquez will confer the Sacrament of Confirmation on our candidates at the 4:00 PM Mass on February 28, 2021. Seating in the church will be limited but we will have overflow seating set up in Carr Hall. We highly encourage the faithful to join us via the livestream that we will have setup here on our parish website and on our parish Facebook page.
End-of-Year Donor Statements for Taxes were mailed January 15, 2021 for those who donated greater than $250 throughout the year of 2020. If you did not receive a letter, or if there are errors, please contact Barbara at 254-793-0273, or send an e-mail to srdl.finances@gmail.com

There are two services for Fr. Walter Carr. They will both be livestreamed, and it is recommended that we consider that option for the health and safety of all. The Vigil will be this Sunday, July 26 at 6 PM at Santa Rosa in Andice. You can watch it by going to the Cook Walden Georgetown website. The Mass of Christian burial will be Monday, July 27 at 10 AM at St. Helen’s in Georgetown. You can watch that by going to St. Helen’s website.
Nefarious emails: Scammers are sending emails that appear to be from Father Larry or Bishop Joe Vásquez requesting gift cards or other monetary items. These messages are a form of phishing called “CEO Fraud.” They are fraudulent and should be ignored. Please know that Bishop Vásquez, our priests and our diocese, will never solicit gift cards through emails or texts.
Our normally scheduled weekday masses begin May 5th; however, we will not have the Wellspring mass until further notice. Starting May 10th, to try to comply with protocols we will only have two limited Sunday liturgies for now, at 8 and 10:30 am. Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon liturgies will follow when possible. For the full guidelines we will be following please see the Alerts section of the website.
The Food Pantry welcomes monetary or in kind donations (food only at this time). You can donate online, simply select the Food Pantry and Outreach fund. Food donations can be dropped off at the next pantry or call our outreach phone number at 254.317.2891 for any additional questions.
