Santa Rosa Ladies Group

Our Mission is to welcome all ladies of the Catholic Community to foster fellowship as well as social and spiritual interaction. The Group, through various endeavors, shall accumulate and disperse funds to assist in the liturgical, organizational and capital needs of Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church.

Meetings

• Are held on the fourth Monday of the month from August through May.
  • We do not meet in June or July.
• Regular Meetings meet at Santa Rosa in Carr Hall
  • 9:30 - Meeting and guest speaker or activity then social
• Evening Meetings meet in Sun City in the Georgetown Room of the Cowan Creek Activity Center
   

Activities

• Santa Rosa Ladies Group Raffle
  • Entitles the purchaser to participate in 4 drawings monthly for one year.
• Bake Sale
  • The ladies provide a variety of baked goods for an annual event.
• ​​​​​​​Greeting Card Correspondent
  • ​​​​​​​Get Well, Sympathy, Congratulations and Mass Cards are sent to those whose names have been submitted.
• ​​​​​​​Parish Council Representatives
  • ​​​​​​​Attend Parish Council meetings representing the Ladies Group
• ​​​​​​​Religious Articles Cabinet
  • ​​​​​​​This committee leads the buying and selling of quality merchandise which is offered at lower than competitive prices. 
  • The Christmas sale is held in the Fall.
• ​​​​​​​Social Activities
  • ​​​​​​​Circle of Friends, Christmas Luncheon, Game Night, and a Spring Potluck
• Spiritual Enrichments
  • Monthly Rosary said 30 minutes before each meeting.
  • Retreats, book club and a monthly prayer are a few of this group's involvement.
